What does “Organic” mean?
What does “Organic” mean?

In addition to containing no artificial ingredients, organic beauty products need to meet additional requirements for its content and formula. If a product is labeled Organic, it should contain at least 10% of certified organic ingredients from a farm that uses a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides or fertilizers.

There are some products in the market that only use one organic component in their formulation without taking care of the other ingredients and they label it as organic, creating confusion among the consumers. That is why we indicate the percentage of certified organic ingredients and the percentage of natural ingredients.

Did you know that our skin may absorb a high percentage of the products we put on it? The skin is the largest organ of the human body and is one of the front doors from the outside to the inside of our body. If we can choose between products that can harm our bodies from the inside and safe products, why not chose the safe products?

Many ingredients used in the cosmetic industry can be harmful to health, such as BHT which is an antioxidant that at low doses is a carcinogen and parabens that are preservatives which are widely used in cosmetic and even in pharmaceuticals products. A European Commission study has shown that one of these types of parabens is a human endocrine disruptor and can act as a hormone in our body.

All the ingredients we use are completely safe.
